Mr. Edward J. Seneski age 95 of Rocky Circle Blairsville passed away on Friday October 16, 2015 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mr. Seneski was born on Jan. 13, 1920 in Wyandotte, MI., the son of the late William S. Seneski and the late Mary Morran Seneski. Edward retired from Mclouth Steel Mill in Michigan and was a truck driver before working at the steel mill. He loved western shows and movies and would watch them hours on end. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Seneski and also by his second wife, Florence Seneski, daughter, Patricia Hayden, also by four brothers, George, Thomas, Bernard and Albert, four sisters, Alice, Leona, Mae and Nern. Edward was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Surviving Mr. Seneski are one son in law, Paul Hayden of Michigan, two grandchildren, Kevin and his wife Bobbi Parent, Brian and his wife Amy Parent, four great grandchildren, Kara, Zachary, Samantha and Connor, longtime caregiver for Edward and Lorretta, Suzanne Martin of Blairsville, who they loved so much and adopted her into their family, many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday Nov. 3, 2015 from the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Richard Wise officiating. Special music will be presented by Ron Gaucher. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in memory of Mr. Seneski. The family will meet with friends following the service. Interment will follow in St. Clare’s Haven Cemetery.
