Mrs. Lisa Kay O’Donald age 49 of Enota Village Drive Young Harris passed away peacefully on Friday January 8, 2016 in the North East Ga Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. O’Donald was born on Sept. 30, 1966 in Akron, OH., the daughter of the late Robert Joseph O’Donald and the late Sylvia Ida Mae Carpenter O’Donald. Lisa was a care giver by trade and was always very good hearted and compassionate person who loved people. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and cousin. Lisa was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Surviving Lisa are one daughter, Megan O’Donald of Young Harris, four brothers and three sisters in law, Bobby and Janice O’Donald of Powder Springs, GA., Rev. Tim and Jennifer O’Donald of Bel Air, MD., Gary and Teresa Stevens of Akron, OH., Wesley Hooper of Blairsville, four sisters, Sue Stevens of MA., Yalonda Hooper of Ellijay, GA., Angie Stevens of Blairsville, Brandy Stevens of Alaska, several nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm from the Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim O’Donald officiating. Music will be Lisa’s favorite hymns. Interment will follow in the Revival Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends following the services at the church.
