Mr. Doyle Eugene Brewer: Obituary

Mr. Doyle Eugene Brewer age 81 of Ed King Road Blairsville, passed away peacefully on Friday August 12, 2016 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Brewer was born on January 10, 1935 in Atlanta GA, the son of Doyle Lorenze Brewer and Arrie Meeks Brewer. Mr. Brewer owned and operated Crescent Ink Company for ten years. Mr. Brewer also enjoyed driving legend race cars and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Brewer is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Marie Kennedy Brewer, sister Ott Duttin, and brother Louie Brewer. Mr. Brewer was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Brewer are his eight children; son and daughter-in-law Ronnie and Donna Brewer of Blairsville, daughter and son-in-law Carol and David Tromp of Paris TX, daughter Jeannie Moore of Raleigh NC, daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Keith George of Blairsville GA, daughter Donna Duggins of Raleigh NC, daughter Jeannie Brewer and her future husband William Renaud, of Blairsville GA, daughter Tiffani Taylor of Blairsville GA, son Caine Brewer of Blairsville, GA, sister Frances Baker of Alabama, brother and sister-in-law David and Betty Brewer of Dallas GA, sixteen grandchildren and many other relatives and friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday August 16, 2016 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Jones officiating. Special music will be presented by Holly Berrios and Scott Lance. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Eugene Brewer, Keith Brewer, Blake Taylor, William Renaud, Rex Taylor, and Brandon Brewer. Internment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 16, 2016 between 12-2:00PM at Mountain View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
