Mr. Frank Healan Shepard: Obituary

Mr. Frank Healan Shepard, age 62, of  Blairsville, GA entered into the presence of His Lord and Savior early Thursday morning, August 25, 2016. Mr. Shepard was born on Dec. 12, 1953 in Dublin, GA., the son of the late Julian Shepard and the late Mozelle Healan Shepard. Frank enjoyed working in his yard and in his garden. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Frank was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Shepard are his loving wife, Linda Whitehead Shepard of Blairsville; three children, Michelle Purvis of Alamo, Buck Land and Tara Guidry of Juliette, GA.; two brothers, Clyde Shepard of Macon and Ray Shepard of Bartow, GA., along with eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Frank’s memory will be forever cherished by all those who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Humane Society Mtn. Shelter or to a favorite charity of your choice in Frank’s memory. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
