Mrs. Sally K. Dougherty: Obituary

Mrs. Sally K. Dougherty age 80 of  Blairsville passed away peacefully on Thursday September 8, 2016 following an extended illness. Mrs. Dougherty was born on Oct. 24, 1935 in Long Island, NY., the daughter of the late Clarence Edgar and the late Delores DeLorraine Edgar. Sally loved cooking and watching tv. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Sally was of the Protestant faith.

Surviving Mrs. Dougherty are her loving husband of sixty years, John Dougherty of Blairsville, one son, Robert Dougherty of Blairsville, four daughters and three sons in law, Lisa Dougherty of Pt. Saint Lucie, FL., Lori and Doug Wojciechowski of West Palm Beach, FL., Kelly and Kenneth Balzer of Royal Palm Beach, Gina and Michael Vitella of Palm Beach Gardens, one sister, Jane Hopper of Palm Beach Gardens, nine grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Cancer Research in Mrs. Dougherty’s memory.
