Mr. Vaughn Moore: Obituary

Mr. Vaughn Moore age 89 of  Blairsville passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 28, 2016 in the Chatuge Regional Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Moore was born on May 27, 1927 in Union County the son of the late Mark Moore and the late Emma Hunter Moore. He was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. He was a loving brother and uncle and was a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Moore and a brother, W.G. Moore. Mr. Moore was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Moore are nieces and nephews, Jozene King, Darla and Max Hood, Gerald and Charlene Brown all of Blairsville, several cousins many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday December 30, 2016 at 3:30 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with Minister Greg Huskins officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Eric Dyer, Cody Norton, Scott Norton, Terry Stover, Jeremy Stover and Bradley Stover. Interment will follow in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:30-3:30 pm prior to the service.
