Mr. Charles Aaron Seabolt: Obituary

Mr. Charles Aaron Seabolt age 78 of Suches passed away peacefully on Thursday December 29, 2016 at the home of his son in Dahlonega following an extended illness. Mr. Seabolt was born on May 19, 1938 in Suches, GA., the son of the late Mintie Seabolt. He was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. Charles loved hunting, fishing and digging ginseng. He was preceded in death by his parents and also by two brothers, J.B. and Noah Seabolt, and a nephew, James Gilreath. Mr. Seabolt was a member of Mt. Pleasant #2 Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Seabolt are three sons and daughters in law, Brian and Rachael Seabolt of Dahlonega, Charles and Marie Seabolt Jr. of Cleveland, GA., Keith and Robin Seabolt of Dahlonega, two daughters and sons in law, Terry and Phil Rosso of Dahlonega, Stephanie and Tim Holgate of Ellijay, two sisters, Marie Williamson and Lizzie Gilreath both of Suches, eleven grandchildren, Kaylee and Levi Seabolt, Zachary, Kaleb, Cheyenne and Matthew Seabolt, Kyle Rosso, Phillip Roydes, Sarah, Christopher and Brendan Holgate, seven great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday Dec. 31, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Mountain View Chapel with Tommy Allum officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Stephen Moose, Jerry Gilreath, Levi Seabolt, Kyle Rosso, Kaleb Seabolt and James Gilreath. Interment will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Mr. Seabolt’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-9:00 pm. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
