Her sons remember Carmela opening their home up to their friends for Sunday dinner. Carmela was in assisted living for the last several years of her life. The caregivers shared many memories of Carmela from her “air kisses,” winks, hugs, and her requests to the other residents of “come on, let’s go.” Carmela will be missed very much by her loved ones, but she will live in their hearts forever.
