Mrs. Priscillia Greenway Coffey: Obituary

Mrs. Priscillia Greenway Coffey, age 69, of Clermont, GA, formerly of Blairsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 surrounded by her loving family in the North East GA Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Coffey was born on Sept. 12, 1947 in Union County, the daughter of the late Ford Wilson and the late Jeanne Plott Wilson. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Owenby and Gene Greenway. Mrs. Coffey was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Coffey are two sons and daughters in law, Rusty and Alicia Greenway of Blairsville, Jason and Dawn Greenway of Clermont, and two daughters and sons in law, Tonya and David of Hayesville, NC, and Carlena and Edgar McGuire of Riverside, IA. She is also survived by four brothers and two sisters in law, James and Susan Wilson of Dahlonega, John Wilson od Fayetttville, GA., Paul and Nancy Wilson of Newnan, Mark Wilson of Toccoa, GA, two sisters and one brother in law, Patricia Wise of Loganville, GA., Barbara and Richard Burnette of Blairsville, and her seven grandchildren, CB, Canyon, Dakota and Levi Greenway, Emily, Peyton, and Matthew Long, and one great grandson, Weston. Many other relatives and friends also survive. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family requests that donations be made to a memorial fund which has been set up at First Citizens Bank.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny White and Rev. Rusty Greenway officiating. Special music will be presented by the New Liberty Baptist Church Choir. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: C.B. Greenway, Canyon Greenway, Brandon Moore, Joel Dishman, Dustin Ledford, and Tim Bohannon. Interment will follow at the New Liberty Church Cemetery.
