Mrs. Donna Ann Smith of Blairsville GA, formerly of Atlanta GA, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 15, 2017 following an extended illness. Mrs. Smith was born on September 27, 1948 in Ontario Canada, the daughter of the late Thomas and Muriel Leonard. Donna worked as a broker’s assistant in the real estate industry, and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Kennesaw State University. Donna loved gardening, playing Mahjong, card games, and being with her friends. Donna attended the First United Methodist Church of Blairsville. Preceding Mrs. Smith in death are her brother Brian Allen Leonard and sister Patricia Lynn Clark.
Surviving Mrs. Smith are her loving husband and best friend Eric Smith, her daughter Amber Jaric of Brooklyn, NY. Many other friends and relatives also survive.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Smith will be held at a later time in the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, and will be announced.
