Mrs. Martha Anne Cone: Obituary

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces memorial services for Mrs. Martha Anne Cone, age 78, of Blairsville, who passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 in Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga after a brief illness.

Surviving family members left to carry on Martha’s legacy include son and daughter-in-law, Fred Scott Cone and Cathy Cone, of Cumming, Georgia; son, Todd Penland Cone, of Atlanta; and daughter and son-in-law, Mary Neil Cone Edge and Jeff Edge, of Blairsville; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Trisha Cook of Marietta, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Claudene and Ted Smith of Hickory, North Carolina; and sister, Mary Ruth Cook, of Blairsville; grandchildren: Kayley Huhl, Hannah Edge, Jeb Edge, Miller Cone, Mary Kate Martin, and JoAnna Cone.

Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 4:00 p.m., to be held at First United Methodist Church of Union County, with Rev. Mark Burgess officiating. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Cochran Funeral Home, between the hours of 5 until 9 p.m.
