Mrs. Anne Lynch Franklin: Obituary

Mrs. Anne Lynch Franklin age 78 of  Morganton passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 3, 2017 in the Union County Nursing following an extended illness. Mrs. Franklin was born on August 8, 1938 in New York City, NY., the daughter of the late Arthur Lynch and the late Margaret Green Lynch. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and sister. Mrs. Franklin was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Franklin are her loving husband of twenty two years, William Franklin of Morganton, two daughters, Susan Schrum and Mary Colee both of Florida, two brothers, Jimmy Lynch of New York, Bill Lynch of CA., two sisters, Mary Lynch and Fran Empie of New York, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date from the First Baptist Church in Morganton and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Nursing Home Activities Department in Mrs. Franklin’s memory.
