Mr. Alton Larry Hill: Obituary

Mr. Alton Larry Hill age 79 of Blue Ridge passed away peacefully on Thursday May 18, 2017 in the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Hill was born on June 30, 1937 in Thomaston, GA., the son of the late Ernest Hill and the late Gertrude Amos Hill. He and his wife LouNell spent most of their lives in Macon before moving to Blue Ridge twenty two years ago. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and also a brother, Richard Hill. Mr. Hill was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses of Blue Ridge.

Surviving Mr. Hill are his loving wife of fifty nine years, LouNell Epps Hill of Blue Ridge, two daughters and sons in law, Cynthia and the late Charles Kindrick of Ellijay, Wanda and Clifford Hooten of Ellijay, three grandchildren, Nicholas Hooten, Cecilia Hanie and Jessicah Bowman, three great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 27, 2017 at 3:30 pm from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Blue Ridge with Elder Lewis VanTassell officiating. Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be to the Watchtower Bible and Track Society in Alton’s memory.
