Miss Sandra JoAnn Lovell: Obituary

Miss Sandra JoAnn Lovell age 58 of Blairsville passed away peacefully on Friday May 19, 2017 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Sandra was born on Oct. 15, 1958 in Union County, the daughter of the late James Ralph Lovell and the late Ann Moore Lovell. She loved everyone that she met and will be missed greatly for her beautiful spirit and loving heart. Her favorite quote was “I love you all, a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck”. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ann Lovell, grandparents, Robert and June Lovell, Albert and Hattie Moore. Sandra was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Sandra are three brothers, Dale Lovell of Cleveland, GA., Donald Lovell of Raleigh, NC., Ralph Lovell of Young Harris, three sisters and one brother in law, Sherry and Wayne Hedgecock of Morganton, Beverly Hedgecock of Columbus, Becky Davis of Mineral Bluff, aunts and uncles, Harry and Betty Moore, Frank and Betty Moore, Bobbie and Daryl Jones and Randall Lovell, seven nieces, three nephews, two great nieces and one great nephew, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday May 21, 2017 at 4:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Jones, Rev. Danny White and Rev. Stuart Nichols officiating. Special music will be presented by The New Life Singers, Tammy and Randy Hughes and Jessica Johnson. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, David and Danny Kuykendall, Anthony Bohannon, Steve, Arlis and Roger Seabolt. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Hedgecock, Jesse Lovell, John Hedgecock, Gary Guffey and James Boatwright. Interment will follow in the Old Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or if you wish the family requests that donations may be made to the Georgia Mtn. Services in Sandra’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6-9:00 pm. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
