Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Mrs. Patricia Mack Drew, age 93, of Blairsville, formerly of Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017.
Mrs. Drew was born in Thomasville, Georgia, to the late Worden E. Mack and the late Normandie H. Mack. Patricia was a member of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Hayesville, North Carolina, and also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. A faithful Christian, loving mother, wife and grandmother….is how her family described her. She enjoyed her knitting, and reading, and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves. Her husband, Dr. William Donald Drew, preceded her in death.
Surviving family members include daughter, Deborah Ford, of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter and son-in-law, Merritt and Larry Hinkle, of Marietta, Georgia; and son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Ruby Ford, of Johns Creek, Georgia; four grandchildren: Elizabeth Haygood, Aimee Burnaugh, Patricia Lin Ford, and Donnie Wang; three great grandchildren: William T. Haygood, Brandon Burnaugh, and Ashtyn Burnaugh.
A private family memorial was held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd Church.
