Miss Ellen Darrington age 75 of Cherry Lea Lane Blairsville passed away peacefully on Sunday October 1, 2017 at her home following a brief illness.
Miss Darrington was born on Feb. 8, 1942 in Hapeville, GA., the daughter of the late Silas Darrington and the late Eva Stallions Darrington. Ellen made her home in Blairsville since 1996 moving here from Clearwater, FL. Ellen loved doing yard work, arts and crafts. She was a loving friend, sister and aunt. Surviving Mrs. Darrington are her best friend, Virginia Collins of Blairsville, one brother and sister in law, Dan and Kay Darrington of Atlanta, GA., several nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Ellen’s memory.
