Rosemary Landrum Entz: Obituary

Mrs. Rosemary Landrum Entz age 84 of Rosemary Drive Blairsville passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday May 20, 2018 following a brief illness. Mrs. Entz was born on July 17, 1933 in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John Landrum and the late Grace Butler Landrum. Rosemary obtained her teaching degree and had taught school in Pusan Korea, Seoul Korea, Silver Spring, MD., Pine Mountain Valley, GA., Lenoir City, TN, Dayton, TN. and home schooling in Blairsville for several years. She made her home in Union County in the early sixties.  She also taught piano lessons for many years. Rosemary was a singer, song writer, artist and was involved in prison ministry. She was a devout Christian who loved her Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edwin Landrum and a sister, June Smith. Mrs. Entz was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Blairsville.

Surviving Mrs. Entz are two daughters, Emily Newell of Blairsville, Evelyn Mansur of Oldsmar, FL., one sister, Grace Lively of Blairsville, six grandchildren, Jan Michael Newell, J. Benjamin Newell, Isabella Zamora, Shane Thani, Brianna Mansur and Mikayla Miller, four great grandchildren, Michael Aiden, Marley and Theodore Cash Newell and Mason Owen, several nieces, nephews, a host of her church family, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with Pastor  Valentin Rusu officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Ben Newell, Michael Newell, Eddie Smith, Bill Curtin and John Bilbo. Interment will follow in the Meadow View Cemetery. Flowers are accepted of if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to Relay For Life or the American Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Entz. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12-2:00 pm.
