Mrs. Helene Walker D’Amato, age 73, of Stable Gate Dr., Blairsville, passed away on Thursday November 7, 2019 at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. D’Amato was born on October 4, 1946 in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of the late Ronald Bull and the late Margaret McIntosh. Helene enjoyed motorcycles, and traveling, especially with her husband across the country. She was a very free-spirited person. Helene was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving Mrs. D’Amato is her loving husband of 40 years, Edward Charles D’Amato Jr. of Blairsville, daughter, Lisa Kemp of New Port Richie, FL., son and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Tamara D’Amato of Hendersonville, NC., a sister, Elsie Pitocco of Ongar Essex, England, a niece Antonella & Kirk Crudgington of Ongar Essex, England, grand-niece & grand-nephew, Noah & Kira Crudgington. The following grandchildren also survive: Madison, Blake, Cameron, Jaxon, and Marley.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Homestead Hospice in Helene’s memory.
