The Union County Farmers Market was selected as a winner of the $2500 AgGeorgia Farmers Market Grant

The Union County Farmers Market was selected as one of three state winners of the $2500 AgGeorgia Farmers Market Grant. To be eligible for the grant, markets had to be in AgGeorgia’s 79 county territory, be open at least 8 days during a 2-month period, and at least 50% of the vendors – five being the minimum – must sell agricultural products. The grant money will be used to advertise or promote the market.

The Union County Farmers Market is a great family outing on Saturdays 8 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and Tuesdays 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Get to know your local growers and farmers, hand-select your favorite fruit and veggies, and taste samples of honey, cheeses and other delights.
