PRESS RELEASE – Today the Oconee Ranger District will be conducting prescribed fire operations to remove hazardous fuels such as leaf litter, dead vegetation, and debris and to improve wildlife habitat.

The 2,190 acre prescribed burn unit C-134 located approximately 11 miles SW of Eatonton, Ga. in Putnam/Jones County.
