Caiden Tanner did his thing for the Panthers as they would dominate West Hall in a 42-7 beatdown. The QB would be responsible for four of the six Union County touchdowns while the defense shutout the Spartans in three of the four quarters of play. The Panthers wasted no time in this one scoring 28 in the first half and another quick 14 to open the second half. After this dominant win, the Panthers now sit at 4-1 on the season with an incredible +145-point differential. They now turn their sights on claiming the region crown this season.
As stated, Tanner dominated the Spartans on Friday night. The stud signal caller would finish 26/30 for 310 yards, three touchdowns in the air while adding a fourth on the ground. Braylen Rader would finish with 89 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries while Jensen Goble would also find the endzone apart of the ground game. Goble was also Tanner’s favorite target as the WR hauled in all three of Tanner’s passing touchdowns, finishing with 126 yards on 13 catches. Senior Ethan McBride also made an impact as the WR finished with 85 yards on six catches.
Neither Maxpreps nor Hudl had individual stats posted for West Hall at the time of this posting.
West Hall now sits at 1-3 on the year and will open their regional schedule as they play host to the 0-4 Dawson County Tigers. As for the Panthers, they will enjoy back-to-back Bye Weeks before opening region play against the 4-0 Banks County Leopards.
