UNION COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are investigating after a person suffered a gunshot wound at the Union County VA Clinic Monday morning.
According to officials, Union County Dispatch received a call at approximately 10:06 a.m. reporting a person with a single gunshot wound at the clinic.
Union County deputies and emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene within minutes and began assessing the situation.
Authorities said the investigation remains active, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
Officials emphasized that the scene has been secured and there is no danger to the public at this time.
