Mrs. Evelyn Marie Blockinger Stuart: Obituary

Mrs. Evelyn Marie Blockinger Stuart age 74 of Blairsville, GA formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully on Saturday Nov. 19, 2016 at Erlanger Hospital, Chattanooga, Tennessee following a brief illness. Evelyn, the daughter of the late Charles and Thomasina Blockinger was born on January 9, 1942 in Baltimore, MD. Evelyn was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and reading. Mrs. Stuart was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She treasured her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her significant other, Michael Santoro in 2014 and nine siblings.

Surviving Mrs. Stuart are one daughter, Karen Yingling of Blairsville, GA, one sister, Melvina Schultz of Baltimore, MD, one brother Edward Blockinger of Panama City, FL, three, grandchildren, Jonathon, Jenneffer and Jenna Fenyes, several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family requests donations may be made to help defray expenses in Mrs. Stuart’s memory.
