Mr. Spencer Helton: Obituary

Mr. Spencer Helton age 52 of Blairsville formerly of Valdosta, GA. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home following a brief illness. Mr. Helton was born on March 1, 1964 in Homerville, GA. the son of Frank Helton and Eloise Maine Helton. Spencer loved truck driving, dirt track racing and his family. He was a loving son, father, brother uncle, grandfather and was a friend to many.

Surviving Spencer are his parents, Frank and Eloise Helton of Blairsville, two sons and daughters in law, Matthew and Christina Helton, Christopher and Logan Helton all of Valdosta, one daughter and son in law, Taylor and Jimmie Jones of Goldsboro, NC., one brother, Jessie Helton and his fiancée, Brandy Lloyd, the mother of his children, Suzanne Helton, nephews, Hunter and Chance, nieces, Emily, Kayla, and Brandy, five grandchildren, Adriana, Caleb and Eli Helton, Isaiah and Olivia Jones, many other relatives and friends also survive.He was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Russell Maine and his grandparents, Eddie and Mamie Maine.

Funeral services will be held on Monday November 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm from the Sardis Baptist Church in Lake Park, Ga with the Rev. Donald Fender, Rev. Joey Castleberry and Rev. Horace Brown officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Jeremy Maine, Michael Davis, Shannon Maine, Sherman Maine, Greg Register, Tim Register and Josh Hendley. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the Sardis Baptist Church on Monday from 12-1:00 pm.
