Ronnie Lee Deyton: Obituary

Mr. Ronnie Lee Deyton age 60 of Overlook Court Blairsville formerly of Blue Ridge passed away on Sunday March 25, 2018 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Deyton was born on Jan. 23, 1958 in Blue Ridge, GA., the son of the late Baxter Deyton and the late Edith Kinser Deyton. Ronnie loved restoring antique cars. He loved fast cars and motorcycle and listening to music. His life was his family and many friends. He was a loving husband, father and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents and also a sister, Janie Kendrick. Ronnie was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving Ronnie are his loving wife and best friend of thirty six years, Teresa Key Deyton of Blairsville, one son, Adam Deyton of Cherry Log, GA., one sister and brother in law, Genny and David Elliott of Blue Ridge, one brother and sister in law, Allen (Doc) and Jean Deyton of Cleveland, TN., several special nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Cody Bearden officiating.. Special music will be presented by Tammy Falls. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Joe Bearden, Jeff Kinser, Shannon Gray, Randy Maney, Steve Deaton and Kaigan Mull. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be member of the Life Care Medical Transport. Interment will follow in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Ronnie’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-9:00 pm.
