Union County Men Advance In Winners Bracket With Win Over Polk Co.

(Towns County, GA) – – The shooting and defense are solid between the Polk County Wildcats and the Union County Panthers, who seemed to trade points and make awesome defensive fronts for each other. Through most of Day 1’s Men’s Game 2 the Wildcats and Panthers stay within points of one another trading the lead numerous times until the last two minutes of the fourth period. The Panthers put the Wildcats away in the fourth period with 10-of-13 free throw shooting, which ended up building the final score difference between the two teams. Eli Underwood led the Panthers with 23 points. The Wildcat’s Tucker Patterson led all scorers with 24 points.

Thursday (December 29th) Games : Union County faces Murphy at 5:30 PM. Polk County will take on Franklin at 11:30 AM.
