Mrs. Judy Ann Berry, age 57, of Blairsville passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness.

Mrs. Berry was born on June 2, 1959 in Young Harris, GA., the daughter of the late Viola Thomas Vandiver. She was a lifelong resident of Union County. Judy loved her family, especially her grandchildren and loved the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother and also a brother, James Thomas. Judy was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church.

Surviving Judy are her loving husband and best friend of forty two years, Harold Berry of Blairsville, one daughter and son in law, Heather and Chad Deyton of Blairsville, two sons and daughters in law, Josh and Krystal Berry of Blairsville, Bo and Hannah Berry of Blairsville, one brother, Perry Stalcup of Murphy, NC., one sister, Bonnie Vandiver of Phoenix, AZ., seven grandchildren, Mollie, Klay, Emma, Ava, Kaylee, Easton and Adelyn, a host of her church family, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Thursday April 27, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Zebulon Baptist Church with the Rev. R.L. Martin and Rev. Carl Helton officiating. Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Judy’s memory. The family will meet with friends following the services at the church. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
