Union County Fire Department Loses Volunteer Firefighter in Tragic Plane Crash

The Union County Fire Deptartment regrets the tragic loss of one its own Volunteer Firefighters, Joseph Hughes. He was killed yesterday, in a single engine plane crash in Jasper, GA. FF. Hughes was a member of UCFD Station 10. He has been with Union County Fire Dept since February of 2014. We would like to send our condolences to the family during this difficult and tragic time.
