Mr. Henry S. Robert, age 89, of Trackrock area of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Union General Hospital in Blairsville.

Mr. Robert was born in Massachusetts in 1927, and was a son of the late Romeo Robert and the late Valeda Beaulieu Robert. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. Mr. Robert had been living in this area since 1990, moving here from Hollywood, Florida, and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He had worked for many years as an automotive technician before retiring to the North Georgia Mountains. In addition to his parents, Henry had been preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Surviving family members include his wife, Rita; daughters, Cathy Robert and Debbie (Robert) Alexander; and son, Christopher (Stephanie) Robert; and a grandson, Curtis Robert; several nieces and nephews also survive.

No services have been scheduled at this time.
