Mr. “Dillon” Quinton age 24 of  Blairsville passed away peacefully at his home on Friday March 10, 2017 following a brief illness. Dillon was born on August 21, 1992 in Blairsville, GA., the son of Rodney Steve Quinton and Suanne Marie Rivkin Quinton. Dillon loved music and was a musician by trade. He was a loving son, grandson, brother uncle and was a friend to so many. His family was a great part of his life. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irwin Rivkin, Patricia Herendon and Steve Paul Quinton. Dillon was of the Interdenominational faith.

Surviving Dillon are his mother, Suanne Rivkin of Blairsville, father and stepmother, Rodney and Stacye Quinton of Young Harris, grandmother, Linda Rivkin of Young Harris, two sisters, Lauren Quinton and Alexis Quinton both of Knoxville, TN., four brothers, Chase Clayton, Logan, Hunter, and Sawyer Quinton all of Blairsville, niece, Madison Garmley, several aunts, uncles and cousins, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 15, 2017 at 3:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Tully Griggs officiating. Special music will be presented by Tyler Nichols, Mia Kusec and Jadie Lee. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to Miracle Hill of Greenville, SC. in Dillon’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 2-3:00 pm. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
