Cohen Bruce Davis: Obituary

   Mr. Cohen Bruce Davis age 83 of Mountain Valley Drive Blue Ridge passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday December 10, 2019 following an extended illness. Mr. Davis was born on August 27, 1936 in Toccoa, GA., the son of the late Claude Davis and the late Bertie Mae Adams Davis. He was a veteran of the Air National Guard. Cohen loved golfing, extensive traveling and fast cars. He also loved flying and was a pilot for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved all animals. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. Davis attended Sugar Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Cohen are his loving wife and best friend of sixty two years, Joy Spinks Davis of Blue Ridge, one daughter and son in law, Elizabeth and Jerry Smiley of Blue Ridge, two sons and daughters in law, Bruce and Jenny Davis of Marietta, Tim and Trena Davis of Hoschton, GA., one sister, Lou Helen Smith of Marietta, five grandchildren, Christopher and Bailey Smiley, Jared Smiley, Shelby Hodges, Will Davis and Caroline Davis, one great grandchild, Hunter Smiley, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm from the Sugar Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Garrett and Dr. Richard Hunter officiating. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Humane Society of Blue Ridge in memory of Mr. Davis. The family will meet with friends following the services.
