Mr. Kalon Dwayne Daniel, age 54, of Blairsville, GA passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Union General Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Daniel was born February 16, 1963 in Atlanta GA, the son of Earl Malcolm Daniel and Nila Gay Parris Daniel. Kalon was an avid guitar player and loved singing karaoke. Kalon was also known as a jokester and cut-up, who never met a stranger, but will be always be remembered as a very loving husband, father, and son. Kalon was preceded in death by his father-in-law Jerry Roberts in 2012, and by several aunts and uncles. Kalon was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Daniel are his beloved wife and best friend Carrie Daniel of Blairsville, GA, son Matthew Daniel of Blairsville, GA, daughter Mia Daniel of Blairsville, GA, parents Earl and Nila Daniel of Marietta GA, brother, Karis Daniel of Marietta, GA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Devin and Kim Roberts of Blairsville, GA, nieces and nephews Dalton, Jaslyn, Savannah, as well as several aunts and uncles, and many other friends and relatives also survive.

funeral service for Mr. Daniel will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 3:00PM in the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. James Bradley III officiating. Special music will be presented by Brant French and Jeremy French. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Devin Roberts, Dalton Ayers, Charles Kernachan, Chris Little, Karis Daniel, Kyle Farlow, and Bobby Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Stanley, David Jason Martin, Brant French, and Jeremy French. Interment will follow at Meadow View Cemetery.
