Mrs. Nina Bell Baker Seymour, age 82 of Mauney Circle Blairsville passed away peacefully on Thursday October 29, 2015 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Seymour was born on May 26, 1933 in Rome, GA., the daughter of the late Bobby Lamar Toles and the late Sara Elizabeth Baker. Nina had lived in Blairsville for over twenty five years. She was a very Godly woman who testified to everyone that she met. She loved her Lord and Savior with all of her heart. Nina was always a prayer warrior who prayed for everyone and everything. She was always worrying about other people and their needs, especially the poor. She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, George Seymour in 2010 and a brother, John Baker. Mrs. Seymour was a member of the Church of God of Prophesy. Surviving Mrs. Seymour are a cousin, Betty and Jackie Pack of Sugar Valley, GA., her extended and adopted family, Martha and Robert Sims of Blairsville, Betty and Charles Totherow of Blairsville, Diane Howard of Blairsville, Virginia and Mindy Taylor of Blairsville, Gary and Brenda Twiggs of Blairsville, Shirley and David Tanner of Blairsville, Linda and Leroy Host of South, GA., Marleen McClure of Rome, GA., Charles and Denise Long of Blairsville, many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev, William Sisum and Rev, Jimmy Tanner officiating. Special music will be presented by Cindy Whitmire, William Sisum, Deborah Templeton and Gary Twiggs. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, David Tanner, Gary Twiggs, Charles Totherow, Leroy Horst, Bryan Long and Nick Horst. Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Methodist Church Cemetery where she will rest next to her beloved husband, George. In Lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Gideon’s for Bibles in Mrs. Seymour’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-9:00pm.
