Mrs. Frankie Satterfield age 97, went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2016 at her home following a brief illness. Frankie was born in Blairsville, Ga. She was a member of New Union Baptist Church since 1934. She loved gospel music, going to the senior center and visiting with her cousin Lorene (Tinkie) Carney and with her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Grover Satterfield, daughter Mary Satterfield, son Eugene Satterfield, brother Jack Thomas. Surviving Frankie are one son and daughter in law Wayne and Bonnie Satterfield, one sister Flo Fink. Five Grandchildren Amie Griffin, Sheri Gross, Bryan Satterfield, Gary Satterfield, Scott Satterfield, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was loved by many. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
