Union County is a beautiful area in the North Georgia mountains and wild life abounds and last week even did a little shopping!

A young black bear cub  decided to take a stroll through Food City last week. He wandered to the back and reportedly had some steak and chicken before he left.  He then was out the back door and relocated to a more suitable area. We can’t take credit for the photo, but upon arrival of Blairsville Police Department the suspect had already escaped through the rear door.
