Mr. Jeffrey Charles Greenwood age 56 of Ft. Myers, Fl., and also of Young Harris passed away on Thursday July 21, 2016.

Mr. Greenwood was born in Royal Oak, MI. on Dec. 5, 1959, the son of the late Charles Greenwood and the late Mary Lou Davis Greenwood. Jeffrey loved fishing, the mountains and nature. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He and his wife Nancy loved spending the summers in the mountains. Jeffrey was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving Mr. Greenwood are his loving wife and best friend, Nancy Greenwood of Young Harris and Ft. Myers, one daughter, Casee Greenwood of Ft. Myers, three step children, Jason, Ashley and Justin (Laura) Govanus, three step grandchildren, Athen, Gideon and Solomon Govanus all of Ft. Myers, one sister and brother in law, Vicki and Mike Pantano, one brother and sister in-law, Randy (Sue) Greenwood all of Sterling Heights, MI., several nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews, and his loving dog and side-kick, Tanner. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to your local Humane Society or The American Heart Association.
