Randy Blake Grizzle, 54, of Blairsville passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday August 16, 2016 following an extended illness. Mr. Grizzle was born on April 10, 1962 in Suches, Georgia to Richard & Grovie Pickelsimer Grizzle. Randy was a lifelong resident of Union County and loved to hunt and fish. He was also a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Suches where he was a Deacon. In addition to his parents Mr. Grizzle is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Mae Dockery Grizzle and his brother John Walton Grizzle.

Randy is survived by one daughter, Haley Grizzle of Blairsville and one brother and sister in law, Vaughn & Deana Grizzle of Cleveland, Georgia. A host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Grizzle will be held 2:00 PM on Wednesday August 17, 2016 from the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Hood & Rev. Rudy Tribble officiating. Special music will be provided by Kelly Brewer and Larry Nichols. Burial will be in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 6-9 PM on Tuesday August 16th at the funeral home. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Kenneth Grizzle, Robby McKim, Robert Bridges, Mitchell Pickelsimer, Mark Alexander, & Terry Pickelsimer. Justin Grizzle & Casey McKim will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to United Community Bank for Haley’s College Fund.
