Mr. Joseph Dillon-Lee Shubert age 19 of Emory Circle Blairsville passed away on Saturday October 8, 2016 in Atlanta following a sudden illness. Dillon was born on October 11, 1996 in Union County, the son of David White and Angela Marie Shubert. He was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. He loved football and baseball, hunting and fishing. He was always a loving and caring son, grandson, brother and nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Shubert and an aunt, Ashley Shubert. Dillon was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Dillon are his parents, father, David White of Blue Ridge, mother and stepfather Angie (Shubert)and D.J. De Joseph of Blairsville, sister, Madison Garrett of Blairsville, grandmother, Ruth Shubert of Blairsville, aunt and uncles, Billie and Jeff Daniel of Blairsville, James Shubert of Blairsville, cousins, Josh, Jonah, Bailey and Kennedy Daniel, A.J., Ali Jo and Jaykob Shubert, several great aunts, uncles, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Gary Rogers and Rev. Tony Gilbert officiating. Special music will be presented by Cindy Whitmore. Interment will follow in the Meadow View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Dillon’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4-6:00 pm. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
