Mr. Larry J. England age 70 of Blairsville passed away peacefully on Monday October 24, 2016 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mr. England was born on Jan. 1, 1946 in Union County, the son of the late Lester L. England and the late Mae Owens England. He was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. Larry loved farming and being outdoors. He was a loving brother and uncle and was a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents and also a brother, Douglas England. Mr. England attended Old Liberty Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. England are one brother and sister in law, John and Pauline England of Blairsville, sister in law, Jean England of Blairsville, nieces and nephews, Brent and Karen England, Rhonda and Todd Collins, Billy and Imogene England all of Blairsville, great nieces and nephews, Cameron Collins, Caylee Collins, Amelia Dyer and Ava Dyer, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. harley Hunter officiating. Special music will be presented by Deborah Collins. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Brent England, Billy England, Todd Collins and John Seabolt. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Dyer and Eric England. Interment will follow in the England Family Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-9:00 pm.
