Mrs. Francine Ives age 77 of Blairsville passed away peacefully on Friday Nov. 18, 2016 at Stonehenge Assisted Living following an extended illness. Mrs. Ives was born on July 19, 1939 in Prospect Park, PA., the daughter of the late Frank Mackowski and the late Willa Mae Orchard Mackowski. Francine loved gardening, reading and volunteering at Hope House. She was a loving grandmother and was a friend to many. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathleen Denise Barrett in 2007. Mrs. Ives was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Ives are a grandson, Colby Ives of Blairsville, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Union County Humane Society Mtn. Shelter in Mrs. Ives memory.
