Mrs. Rebecca Ann Mitchell age 63 of Cline Rd. Moreland, GA. passed away on Sunday February 26, 2017 in the Northridge Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Mitchell was born on May 25, 1953 in Atlanta, GA., the daughter of the late Raymond Frank Huckeba and the late Mary Fannie Carey Huckeba. Rebecca was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her life. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Carey and Raymond Huckeba. Mrs. Mitchell was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Mitchell are one daughter and son in law, Sharon (Sam) and Bobby Norris of Blairsville, three sons and one daughter in law, Roger and Crystal Mitchell of Moreland, Craig Mitchell of Newnan, Jamie Mitchell of Moreland, two step daughters, Karen Mitchell of Yatesville, GA., Robin DeArmond of Nashville, TN., two sisters, Christine Mitchell of Blairsville, Donna Flowers of Blairsville, one brother, Danny Huckeba of Moreland, niece and nephew, Rhonda and David Flowers, many other nieces and nephews, two grandchildren, Sarah and Scott Elam, Sandy and Kyle Hancock, three great grandchildren, Skyler and Dixie Elam, Logan Hancock, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 2, 2017 at 4:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Dwight Winkley officiating. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-4:00 pm. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
