Mr. Victor Edward Jones age 52 of East Hayesville passed away peacefully on Monday July 10, 2017 in the Valley View Care Center following an extended illness. Victor was born on Jan. 7, 1965 in Asheville, NC., the son of Saundra Steinmeyer Jones and the late William Edward Jones. Victor was an avid mechanic who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. He was a loving son, brother and was a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his father, William Jones and three sisters, Jennifer Stastny, Cynthia Jones and Kimberly Walker. Victor was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

Surviving Mr. Jones are his mother, Saundra Jones of Hayesville, two brothers and one sister in law, Tim Jones of Hayesville, Randy and Michelle Jones of Weaverville, NC., many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held on a later date from the Blairsville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness Church. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Victor’s memory. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
