Mrs. Cynthia Leonis age 84 of Jones Creek Rd. Blairsville passed away peacefully on Monday August 7, 2017 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Leonis was born on July 23, 1933 in Boston, MA., the daughter of the late Lester E. Archibald and the late Hazel Mitchener Archibald. Cynthia loved gardening, growing flowers and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Leonis, a son, Paul Leonis and one sister, Lorraine Bain, . Cynthia was of the Christian faith.

Surviving Mrs. Leonis are her daughter in law, Susan Leonis of CO., one daughter and son in law, Diane and Preston Shull of FL., two grandchildren, Erika and Sage Leonis, many other relatives and friends also survive.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to a favorite charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Leonis.
