Mrs. Joyce Sorenson age 64 of Blairsville Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge Ga.

Mrs. Sorenson was born on January 22, 1953 in Cranston, Rhode Island the daughter of the late Jeremiah Sullivan and the late Alice Richards Sullivan. Joyce had made her home here in Blairsville for the passed 11 years and in her spare time she enjoyed cross stitching and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Sorenson in 2014.

Joyce is survived by daughter Linda & son in law Robert Flowers of Blairsville, Ga. son Andrew & Christie Sorenson of Va., one sister and brother in law Sharon & Ty Baldwick of R.I., one brother John Sullivan of R.I.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 23 at 12:00 P.M.at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Terry Stuart officiating. The family will meet with friends after the service at the chapel. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
