Ms. Camille D’Amato age 71 of Russell Scenic Hwy Blairsville passed away peacefully on Thursday November 9, 2017 in the Gilmer County Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Ms. D’Amato was born on September 27, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY., the daughter of the late Joseph Cina and the late Mae Oliva Cina. Before her retirement she served as Vice President with Oppenhiemer for many years of service. Camille loved football, especially the Jets, loved going to plays and Broadway musicals and playing trivia games. She was a loving and caring mother, sister and grandmother. Camille was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Surviving Ms. D’Amato are one son and daughter in law, Vinny and Kathy D’Amato of New Windsor, NY., one brother and sister in law, Karl and Nina Cina of Yardville, NJ., two grandchildren, Enzo and Arabelle, a host of her church family, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday November 13, 2017 at 11:00 am from St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Juan Areiza officiating. Special music will be presented by Ron Gaucher. Maryann Englemann will serve as cantor. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church or to a favorite charity of your choice in Ms. D’Amato’s memory.
