Mr. James Robert Hadas age 55 of Forsythia Lane Hayesville passed away peacefully at his home on Monday March 5, 2018 following a brief illness. Mr. Hadas was born on August 12, 1962 in Key West, FL., the son of Samuel Hadas and Janet Cormack Hadas. He was a lifelong resident of Clay County. He was a veteran of the US Navy. James was a member of the Hayesville American Legion. He enjoyed working with horses and spending time outdoors. He was a loving father, son, brother and grandfather. James was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Hadas are his parents, Sam and Janet Hadas of Bonifay, FL., one daughter and son in law, Ana and Jason Hall of Hayesville, one son and daughter in law, Ryan and Jordan Hadas of Marble, NC., two brothers and sisters in law, Sam and Christine Hadas of NJ., Paul and Thala Hadas of Iowa, one grandson, Elijah Hall, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Brasstown Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Jimmy Carter, Tracy Hogsed, Kery Morgan, Jack Hogsed, Ryan Hadas and Jason Hall. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in memory of Mr. Hadas. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 pm.
