Mr. Elmore Martin Putney III of Blairsville passed away unexpectedly on May 21 2018. Martin was an attorney having practiced in the local area for several years. He enjoyed golf, dancing and cooking.

Surviving Mr. Putney are his son Luke Putney of Nashville Tn. mother Mrs. Patricia Dail Putney of Buford Ga. one brother and sister in law Paul and Bonny Putney of Buford Ga., many other friends and family including his beloved cousin DeAnna.

Two memorial services will be held. The first service will be held on Sunday May 27, 2018 at 4:00 from the Union County Community Center with Minister Butch Jones officiating. The second service will be held on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 1:00  from the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel.
