Charles Robert Boss, 86 of Blairsville, GA died Thursday, May 31, at Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA.  He was born in New York City on October 31, 1931, the son of Kathryn & William Boss.  He was the loving husband of the late Marie Kathleen Boss (2001).

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Boss; his five children, Patricia Driver, Marie Boss, Bill Boss, Edward Boss, Mathew Boss, and their spouses; six stepchildren, Loretta Wingate, Bill Rowley, Dennis Rowley, Richard Rowley, Kevin Rowley, Diane Rowley and their spouses.  He also has eight grandchildren, thirteen step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

He attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Blairsville, GA and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955.

A memorial service will be held on Friday June 8, 2018 at 11:oo am from St. Franicis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Juan Areiza officiating. Special music will be presented by Ron Gaucher and serving as cantor will be Maryanne Englemann Military Honors will be presented by the North GA. Honor Guard..  Interment will follow on Monday June 11, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Alzheimer/Dementia charities.
