Sandra Elaine Bryson

March 08, 1965 – February 06, 2019

Mrs. Sandra Elaine Bryson age 53 of Georgia Hwy 180 Blairsville passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 6, 2019 in the North East GA Medical Center following an extended illness. Sandra was born on March 8, 1965 in Blairsville, GA., the daughter of Mary Jane Reid McCollum and the late Robert William McCollum. She was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. Sandra always worked hard all of her life. She loved cleaning and doing housework. She was a very loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Sandra was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Sandra are her loving husband, Howard Bryson of Young Harris, her mother, Mary McCollum of Blairsville, one son and daughter in law, Chris and Clarice Bryson of Blairsville, two brothers, Donald McCollum and Merle McCollum both of Blairsville, one sister, Darlene Reed of Toccoa, GA., three grandchildren, McKenzie Dawn Bryson, Myra Leigh Bryson and Robert Gunner Bryson, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with Rev. Danny White officiating. Special music will be presented by the faith singers. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Larry. Donald and Wayne McCollum and Chris Bryson. Interment will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-9:00 pm.
