Mr. Thomas Robert Hedgecock age 77 of Blue Spring Parkway Greeneville, TN. Formerly of Blairsville passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday July 2, 2019 following a brief illness. Mr. Hedgecock was born on August 20, 1941 in Blairsville, GA., the son of the late John Hedgecock and the late Gertrude Beaver Hedgecock. Thomas was a veteran of the US Air Force and the US Navy have served his country for over thirty two years. In his spare time he loved collecting and restoring all types of automobiles. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was one of fourteen siblings and was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Linkous Hedgecock. Mr. Hedgecock was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving Mr. Hedgecock are one daughter, Lisa Sharp of Andrews, NC., three grandchildren, Tony and Kesha Sharp of Andrews, Ashley and Matt Cochran of Andrews, Holly and Chad Prather of Andrews, four great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Hedgecock’s memory. “Fair Winds and Following Seas”, Rest In Peace Thomas Hedgecock.
